Brooke Lopez What have I learned from this experience? I got the referral for creation out past curfew. Honestly, this didn’t see my school performance. It could affect my future education though if it stay puts on my record, handle on college applications. I should have thought of that before getting caught up. My momma was mad when I got brought home by the patrol at 1 in the morning. She was very disappointed that I was being irresponsible out in the streets so late(a) at night. She didn’t trust me for a long succession and I had to prove to her I could be a peachy girl. She didn’t know what my consequences would be for the police so she was a bit stressed out. Eventually everything turned out okay though and I gained her trust gumption. My dad wasn’t in reality modify. He actually took my side of the argument. He believes that just because I was out late on a weekend, it shouldn’t lowly I have to get put in the back of a police car and escorted home. He saved me from my mom’s hour long lectures. My friends were affected by this because I was grounded for 2 weeks. I couldn’t hang out with anyone. I missed my best friend’s birthday troupe also. I was super mad. It really made me analyze wherefore I do such dumb things. This situation affected the familiarity in a positive way, in my opinion.



Since I got caught up and had to take these classes, I got assigned community service. So, I got to help out in some way and stay out of pain in the ass for 15 hours. My personal feelings about my way are a little mixed. I know I was out later than I should have been, but I wasn’t doing anything bad so I don’t see the harm in it. I think it’s stupid that I had to go through all this trouble just for getting caught after curfew. 6 weeks of classes, 15 hours of community service, 3 page essay… is this really necessary? surface apparently Juvenile Court thinks so. Then again, I didn’t really mind the 6 weeks of diversion classes.
