Grenadan

My parents are both from the small island of Grenada, located within the atomic number 74 Indies. Ive heard many stories as to why simply they left, everything that they had back in their native country to come here, and it wasnt until this research paper came about that I made it my craft to surpass the small talk and get down to the actuality buns the stories Ive heard over the years. Both my parents were born in St. Georges, Grenada and had been very close friends coming up together. They both be the same schools from elementary all the way to high school. My begin Richard Matthew, then decided to come overseas to America so he could pursue his business studies. My mother Ramshuran Patmanie of whom was of the local Indian descent furthered her studies at Mc Donald College in Grenada. My mother told me that patch living in Grenada it was always pretty calm and acute depending on where you would go. She state that there was hardly any aggressiveness between the East Indians, also known as coolies and the bleak islanders. This she say was mainly because half the blacks islanders had traces of Indian blood, which was visible in many families through out the island.

Sadly, this was the case with my mothers father who, didnt tolerate my mothers human relationship with my father at all, even when she turned 18 and said she was moving to the States to continue her education nursing. My grand father whom Ive never met till this day told my mother that if she left he would have nothing to do with her and would never support her if she had children. non wanting to leave and cause her father grief, she decided to put up up on her dream of moving to the States until she could surely substantiate her fathers blessing.
