On November 3rd I attended the New melodic phrase Ensemble concert at the Gerald R. Daniel Recital Hall. The concert cavort pianist, Mark Uranker and the Iron Works. When I arrived there were non legion(predicate) people in the audience. The first tour, La Sola II was performed by a picayune ensemble. At first they all began correct their instruments which I mix up with the incurning of the ready, until I realized how defective it sounded. When the song did begin it was very loud and immediately take aback me. In the background I could hear the xylophone ringing. The medical oddity sounded very strange. It was disjunct with very small intervals. The big differences in the musics range made it resemble a conversation between two people with very antagonistic voices. I was not expecting the ending to come, especially because it was very clear-sighted with no warning. I felt as though I was caught off guard the whole time, and so I was not a big fan of this piece. The second piece called potency was only performed by two men, the previous conductor and separate performer on the Steel pan drums. The man on the Steel pan drums utilize wine bottles as well to perform the piece which reflected the history of the music. Slaves were the inspiration of this piece referable to their use of non traditional instruments, such as paint cans, embrocate drums, and bottles. This piece was in minor key and the sounds that the instruments made seemed to intimately mirror each other as if they were in agreement. The piece had an overall concerted melody. The same measure of volume was used throughout the piece until two base pedal drums were added. This gave it a strong background beat that added to the liveliness of the music. The third piece, Vingt Regards run over LEnfant, was very wild and strange from the start. Mark Uranker manage on the piano beginning with a soft conjunctive melody that contained random spurts of scattered notes. As t he music progressed it became more(prenomin! al) disjunct.
