The organism Im studying, Red-Tailed Shark, has a slightly ridiculous mating habit. It get off the grounds off with a male and female liquified side-by-side to each other(a), making short jerking motions. Then the littler fish lead swim under the larger fish, and saying upwards. They will swim together like this for around ecstasy seconds, when the bottom fish will stand up, presumably to divulge to the other fish theyre ready for mating. They then compact their underbellies together and start to make a swimming motion, however stay in place. They then break apart and quote this process for a few minutes. They will do this oft until the females stomach sustains to get bloated, and they will begin to show normal behavior to each other (chasing the other out of their territory, avoiding each other, etc.). ? Two Red-Tailed Sharks preparing to mate Due to their extreme territorial reserve behavior, mating in captivity is extremely r ar. Normally they are bred on fish farms in Thailand, where they originally lived, so the piddle and weather would be the perfect conditions for them to mate. Biotic factors in their ingrained environment -Availability of plants If there is a shortage of plants, it will affect the come up of animals in the area. If there is not enough plants, the herbivores will start to die out.
This will eventually cause the omnivores/carnivores to die too, for they will have no herbivores to feed on. -Humans If humans decide to run their lakes/ponds that they live in (which they did, causing them to be extinct in the wild), it would severely hurt their numbers. -Amount of predators If there is a large inwardness of carnivores and not enough smaller organisms for them to eat, the smaller organisms will be consumed to near-extinction, and the carnivores will most likely be forced to break the area. ? The origin of the Chao Phraya River, where the Red-Tailed Shark once lived. Abiotic factors in their natural environment -River currents If the fish...
