They will swim together like this for around ecstasy seconds, when the bottom fish will stand up, presumably to divulge to the other fish theyre ready for mating. They then compact their underbellies together and start to make a swimming motion, however stay in place. They then break apart and quote this process for a few minutes. They will do this oft until the females stomach sustains to get bloated, and they will begin to show normal behavior to each other (chasing the other out of their territory, avoiding each other, etc.). ?
