Reflective Review

Introduction In this essay I result be mouth about the skills and strategies that I learnt in study ED1000. I will demonstrate how and why I applied these skills and strategies through my opposite facultys. I will also be reflecting upon one of my goals and whether I had achieved it or not. I will talk about the habituate of my time after setting myself a timetable, the impact this has had, and whether the changes shit had a positive effect upon me. My time studying ED1000 has helped me immensely in all of my studies. The skills that I have attained from studying ED1000 have widened my k directledge, understanding and skills in many ways. Particular skills that I have obtained in the area of research are now being able to deal with databases like NEXIS, JSTOR, SWEETSWISE and EBSCO which have been really useful when needing resources to find information for compiling assignments or for widely distri provideded knowledge. There are vast amounts of information available such as journals, internet journals, news papers, articles books, etc. There was a particular assignment that I needed to complete for my module ED1031. When undertaking this assignment, the use of my Athens account was most stabilising and I used SWEETSWISE and EBSCO databases to extract information that was relevant to my work.

The power why I would prefer to use the databases mentioned above is because I believe the information that I derive from them is more academician and trustworthy than simply surfing the internet. This does not mean that on that point are no academic sources available on the internet, but it is what I personally feel more comfortable with as a trustworthy source for producing good work. At the starting signal of ED1000 I was asked to prepare a weekly timetable so that I could organise my time effectively. When trying to lay out my timetable I found it quite difficult to squeeze some hours of personal study in because of my families situation, especially with my ill parents who need oft of my time and attention....
