Goodyear marketing plan

1INTRODUCTION

In this assigning, the problem targeted is to compile a merchandise plan, finding out the structure and how to implement all germane(predicate) information accordingly. The chosen company is Goodyear. The strategic planning is the managerial process of creating and maintaining a fit between the firms objectives and resources on the atomic number 53 hand and evolving market opportunities on the other hand( Lamb, Hair, McDaniel, Boschoff & Terblanche 2004: 412)

The objectives of the assignment were to remove an appropriate company and structure their corporate information into a marketing plan, outlined in your textbooks. All information gathered from the firm needs to be analyzed and conceptualized into relevant segments.

A personal interview with Mr. N Terblanche who is the service and product flavour manager of the complaints department of Goodyear was used as a mode of research. Mr. N Terblanche was contacted on the 14th of September 2007 to provide us with relevant information needed. The interview was conducted in person. The other system of research used was the Marketing 2nd South African edition textbook for the structure of the business plan.

Difficulties experienced during the assignment were to find a firm that was willing enough to springiness away the vital information that the company is built upon.
