James Taylor

James Taylor is a very contemporary artist who get goings with collage in a modern approach for social club advertisements such as UniCredit, Sport magazine, and Nokia.
The structured shapes of Taylors work arrive at a rigid yet polished form that sets his work aside from other collage artists. His shapes however are so diverse as he ranges from very acidulated geometric lines, to the curved forms presented through human and animal shapes in his work. Taylor disrupts the harsh structures with his own drawings or silhouettes of rainbows, clouds and so on which create a blend and present each image as a locomote or story together. The ideas present are almost analogous a popping-up book, reinterpreting the idea of childhood stories to his audience, and as you open up the advert/book your imagination is open to explore the ideas project from the rascal.

His work is very analog as he works with mainly landscape druthers which leads the eye to travel lengthways across a page like a visual journey through his ideas.
Taylor creates a vivid clash of pile of colour as there seems to be no apparent scheme within his artwork.
