1) Learning the rules of touch on is important to both parents and children because it communicates love, comfort, nurturing and acceptance. It is important for children to experience that most touches are safe and caring. It is alike important for children to go through that some touches are not okay. Children need to know how to respond to an affectionate touch and also what they can do if they happen a touch that does not see safe or springs them emotional state bad or confused. As a child, I was taught when meeting someone to introduce myself, by stating my name and quivering the persons hand. When walking into a room serious of masses, the first thing that I needed to do was make out all single person. The way of doing this is by shaking every masculine hand in the room and hugging or giving a small kiss on the archness to every female. This was only requirement when being familiar with the people or somehow knowing who they were. However, if I were to walk into a room plenteous of strangers I was not obligated to go one by one and shaking everyones hand, ripe a simple Hi to everyone was fine. They key here was to make every single person in the room feel comfortable and acknowledged.

My personal views about family and friends are different.



A family segment should be treated with more respect where as a friend should be treated with more trust. When I was a child, my mother always told me that I needed to be evenly respectful to a family member, a friend, and an acquaintance at tame or work. My mom used to tell me it was not necessary to shake hands nor give hugs or kisses to a friend because it was up for me to decide how I wanted our relationship to be. Until this solar day I hug my female friends when saying hi and also goodbye. On the other hand, I do not feel as comfortable doing it with my male friends because when I was a child, I was taught not to be too affectionate with a male, oddly in public.
